The class will run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6pm–8pm beginning on Monday, May 14 and ending on Thursday, June 14, for a total of 15 sessions.
The first two sessions, May 14 and 15, will be on land so that participants can learn about safety, the rowing stroke, and boat handling. These two sessions are mandatory (though if you have a conflict you may contact Quica or Dagny, the Learn To Row coordinators, email@example.com)
The remaining 13 sessions are on the water, weather permitting. To complete the program, you must attend 3 or more of the remaining sessions, for a total of at least 5 sessions. Participants are stongly encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible.
Once the Learn To Row program has ended, participants who have met the minimum attendance requirements can then row with the club members for the remainder of the rowing season, which ends on September 21, 2018. The club offers coached rows on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6pm–8pm.

The 11th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta is coming up on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the Sunbury Amphitheater. There is still time to build a cardboard boat and test its seaworthiness. (It has to be better than Jim Baker’s 2012 boat, which set a new sinking record!) If you don’t enter a boat, just come, watch all the fun, and support CPRA.
Anyone with basic rowing experience (and a $25 donation for the row & dinner) is invited - you do NOT have to be a CPRA member. It will be an easy row up to the bridge where we will stop and watch the moon rise and then a quiet row back on glasslike water under the moonlight. A dinner will greet us upon our return. Non-rowers are invited to join us at dinner for $10. T-Shirts are $19.00
